And neither will this edition.
The International Music Performance Competition Sigall officially opens its 2026 call for entries in the Voice category. We invite young performers from around the globe to be part of this historic milestone in Viña del Mar, Chile.
The competition will take place from October 4th to 9th, 2026, at the prestigious Teatro Municipal of Viña del Mar. This golden edition will bring together exceptional singers aged 18 to 32, following a rigorous selection process that includes a video preliminary round, followed by live semifinal and final stages.
In alignment with our commitment to artistic excellence, participants will perform a comprehensive repertoire featuring Opera Arias, Lieder, and a compulsory Chilean work specially commissioned for this 50th anniversary—strengthening the bridge between contemporary creation and musical heritage.
The 2026 edition will be led by Artistic Director Pedro-Pablo Prudencio, Resident Conductor of the Orquesta Filarmónica de Santiago, who will guide the musical vision of this landmark celebration.
Applications are open until June 18th, 2026, at 23:59 (Chilean Continental Time).
